Reasons for Food Poisoning
In today’s excessive modern age, our lifestyle has been changed drastically.
Along with time, eating habits has became irregular. In most of the cases food quality is degraded.
We started having any food at any time. Due to progress in technology, we could preserve the food for long days. Some preservatives, gases or chemicals are added in food for long time durability. Such chemicals or cross nature food may harm our health if any reaction happens.
Below are some cross food examples. Note it down carefully and avoid any health hazard.
We can have some examples on reasons for food Poisoning as below:
Stale Foods:
Contaminated foods – It may be due to insects, Bacteria, parasites or viruses, e. Coli, contact of any types of toxins etc.
How to know that we are in trouble with food poisoning or we have consumed it.
There are some specific symptoms that indicates possibility or estimate reasons for food Poisoning.

It will take less than a hour time or even some minutes are enough for symptoms. It depends on intensity of contamination and poison.

Reasons for food poisoning depends on what types of food we consume in various situations. Food poisoning, or foodborne illness, occurs when you eat contaminated food. Contaminated means it’s infected with a toxic organism, such as a bacteria, fungus, parasite or virus. Sometimes the toxic byproducts of these organisms cause food poisoning.
When you eat something toxic, your body reacts to purge the toxins. You may purge through vomiting, diarrohea, fever or all of these. The uncomfortable symptoms of food poisoning are your body’s way of working to return to health. It usually works in a day or two.
Fish & Milk
We have been listening from long time through old people, that fish & Milk should not consume at a time. There must be enough time gap between both consumption to avoid health issues. Ayurveda also supports to this belief
If you consume fish & milk together, then they it may put you in trouble. The disease called as lucoderma will be the result for this combination. Lucoderma causes skin pigmentation issue.
Both products milk and fish have higher amount of protein. These excessive protein proportion is also cause for stomach pain, diarrhea etc. The people who have allergy, are more prone to suffer.
Milk gives cooling effects on our body whether as fish has a good heating effect because of its higher source of protein. Because of vice versa process, lots of energy gets released.
Tea & Water
Tea has been daily beverage of lots of people. It is taken almost twice or even more than tat. Few people are unaware the harmful effects of drinking water, that means immediately after a cup of tea.
Either try to drink water before tea or after some time of drinking. This will be beneficial to reduce the acids in our stomach, and the harmful effects to our body and teeth.
The tea and coffee are acidic nature. If you count scientifically the PH of tea, then it comes around in the range of 5 and coffee as 6.
This results in acidity. It may further cause for cancer, ulcer etc. diseases.
Mistakes that people do knowingly or unknowingly.
• Don’t drink tea and water Immediately, and strictly avoid the cold water. It will harm your teeth.
• You might face problems of cough and cold.
• Blooding from nose can be the result due to above act.
• Stomach Aches: If you drink water immediately after tea, then it will lead to stomach related issues also. Like acidity, stomach ache etc.
• Bleeding from Nose: Blood can flow out from nose.
• Tea for Teeth: If you drink got tea and immediately water then, it will make sudden temperature change in mouth. This will harm mouth muscles.
Avoid acidic foods with sweet fruits. For example strawberry along with grapes. Do not eat banana and guava together.
This will make your digestion slow. An further give you headaches and nausea
Honey & Ghee
Lots of people eat ghee daily. Sometimes we also consume honey. Until we consume them with a good distance then there is no issue. But if we eat them at a time, then it can be a very serious matters. It may lead to death also.
Milk & Acidic Foods
Do not consume milk and acidic type foods together. Such foods include orange, papaya, pineapple etc.
Digestion time of milk is more than above sour type foods. If we consume them at a time, then it may lead to gas formation in the body. Heart burn will also one more trouble.
Milk & Banana
Both foods are nutritious and favorite in almost many health conscious people.
You might not aware that, such combination is not easy to digest. Instead try them consuming separately with some time distance. This will be good for health and smooth digestion.
Milk & Radish
Radish have been very healthy types of vegetables. Green vegetables must be consumed by every person. It boost your health without any side effects.
However, it is advised to avoid milk and radish together. At least there should be distance of at around 2 hours.
Milk & Melon
Fruits are natural and nutritious foods for us. There are various types of fruits and few of them are unhealthy combination with milk.
Melon is one if them. It has diuretic properties. If you consume milk and melon together, then it will be a adverse effects on our body. Loose motions, vomiting can be the result. Even toxins proportion may get increased.
Cucumber & Tomatoes
Salad means combination of fruits, vegetables and some roots.
Salad have been part of many people’s daily diet. We keep eating salad due to getting proper nutrition to our body’s requirements. But some time it leads to adverse effects because of wrong foods combination.
It should be definitely good mixture to consume. Just needed to be aware cross food combinations.
You must have questions, why the Tomato and Cucumber mixture is bad for health. Definitely both are healthy food items but if eaten separately.
If consumed together, then will affect on our digestion system. Tomatoes are very good source of vitamin C like orange. But the enzyme that contains in Tomato create obstacles. That means these enzyme disturb the process of vitamin C absorption, we loose the nutrition of foods.
Yogurt with Fruits
Both products are very healthy and required daily to every person. It will help to fulfil the nutrition needed to our body.
Yogurt and Fruits takes different time for digestion. It will keep our stomach in trouble. Hence it is better to consume both items with sufficient time gap, and keep the digestion healthy.
Bread & Cheese
Our stomach digest Protein & starch differently.
proteins and starches are digested differently by your body. If we eat both food items at a time, then possibly protein will be digested first and then starch at last.
These starchy food then become the cause for fermentation, and next in turn leads to food poisoning. These are some of the reasons for food poisoning so take due precaution while consuming foods, which can harm to your health.
