What is a Blood Pressure?
Blood pressure is the force measurement of Blood that is pumped by the heart all over the body.
Two types of Blood Pressure
Systolic —–> This Blood pressure gets measured while heart rate is highest in heartbeat.
Diastolic —> This Blood pressure gets measured during two heartbeats when the Blood flow will be lowest.
Range of Blood Pressure
Normal Range of Blood Pressure – It is considered between 90/60mmHg – 120/80mmHg.
Higher Range of Blood Pressure – It is considered as 140/90mmH & higher.
Lower Range of Blood Pressure – It is considered as 90/60mmHg & lower.
Ideal blood pressure is considered in the ranges between 90/60mmHg and 120/80mmHg. high blood pressure is assumed to be 140/90mmHg or higher. low blood pressure is assumed to be in the range of 90/60mmHg or lower.
Blood pressure can be categories as below.
Normal
If Blood pressure numbers are less than 120/80 mm Hg then it is assumed within the normal range.
Elevated
Range from about 120-129 systolic and if less than 80 mm Hg diastolic comes under Elevated category, if any person finds their blood pressure in this said ranges, then it’s the time to get alert and more precaution to get the timely actions.
First Stage of Hypertension
In this stage of Hypertension blood pressure stays between ranges from 130-139 systolic or 80-89 mm Hg diastolic. By taking advice from doctors, you need to change your regular habits.
Second Stage of Hypertension
In this stage of Hypertension blood pressure stays between ranges from 140/90 mm Hg or maybe higher.

- Medicine: Certain types of pain and anti-inflammatory medications may cause to retain water, creating kidney problems and also increasing blood pressure.
- Tobacco: Smoking habits of cigarettes and chewing tobacco can cause an immediate & temporary rise in blood pressure. The chemicals available in tobacco can damage the lining of artery walls which causes arteries to narrow and then increases blood pressure.
- A higher proportion of alcohol consumption: Drinking too much alcohol leads to rising in blood pressure
- Kidney-related diseases: Kidneys produce an aldosterone hormone to help the body to regulate blood pressure, In the case of any Kidney disease can lead to uncontrol the blood pressure function.
