Every one must aware that, there is different diet plan as per age group. If we do not follow age wise foods, then it will lead us to suffer from various diseases, making unhealthy and uncomfortable life.
It may difficult to stick with eating habits, but our focus should be for avoiding wrong food & on wrong time.
We can categorize the diet plan according to age. In some condition it may not be applicable to those people who have some health issues.

 

Food up to the 6 months of Age

This is the beginning of new born life journey. Here need utmost care on their feeding so that the can develop nicely.
It is always advised that, babies should get breastfed exclusively until their age of initial 6 months.

Normally babies grow around double of their initial birth length and gain three times more weight within a span of one year.

 

Breast milk consist of below ingredients.

1. Live Cells
Breast milk have live cells in million numbers, this is required for organs development as well as healing.

2. Protein
The mother milk have higher protein contains. It helps in improve immunity system and protects the neurons.
Breast milk have two types of proteins, I.e. whey & casein. This smoothens the easy digestion.

3. Enzymes
Milk also have enzymes (catalysts)

4. Antibodies
It keeps away the infections from various virus and bacteria & keeps body under protection.

5. Oligosaccharides
It has oligosaccharides, that is required to feeds for good bacteria in the guts of baby & keeps infections away.

6. Vitamins & Minerals
Thus is required for overall growth, bones, teeth etc.

7. Bifidus factor
This is bacteria but not the harmful instead needed for body. It is called lactobacillus.
Bifidus factor make an environment that is acidic, where harmful bacteria find difficult to survive.

8. Hormones
This compound facilitates the smooth functioning of organs & tissues.

9. Secretory IgA
This protect the babies from the infections of various viruses & bacteria. It includes bacteria like E. Coli and others that comes in our contact due to exposure.

10. Lysozyme
Lysozyme is good anti inflammatory. It protect from the bacteria like E. coli. This has been one type of enzymes.

11. Fats
Breast milk is enriched with fats. Fats is important component in the process of babies growth.

12. Vitamins
Vitamins contain in milk may be different according to mothers intake it. Hence it is necessary that Mother should consume nutritious food.

13. Carbohydrates
Carbohydrates I.e. Lactose which contains in milk.
It will work against harmful bacteria in stomach, improves the capability of absorption of magnesium, calcium, phosphorus etc.

 

Food up to 6 to 12 months of child age

It is better to keep continue the breast feeding around the age of 12 months or even further more some more time.
Further to this, it is time where new or other foods should be introduced.
At around the age of 6 months, solid type food to be given to fulfil the addition needs of nutrition.
Below mentioned foods to be given to babies, However there may be different types of food as per various countries, locations & culture.

Iron & Zinc
Add foods that have enough proportion of Iron & Zinc. I.e. some cereals, soya beans etc.
Mineral & Vitamins
Green vegetables, fruits, eggs etc.
Add new menu slowly and in smaller quantities.
In the circumstances of diarrhea, give baby a liquid in sufficient proportion.

It is better to not add other things like honey, salt or sugar.
Foods that can lead to choke up, need to strictly avoid, like hard foods, grains, the products that can stuck in throat.

Foods for the Teenage

Teenage or Teenage is the period when someone is between the age of 13 to 19 years.
It is said that, both spell ends with the word “Teen”.
This is the age where children grow fast with development. They need to eat proper foods.

Which types of food Teenager should eat?
Dairy products
Dairy items are super food for health. It includes Ghee, curd, cheese etc. This has vitamins, calcium, proteins etc.

Pulses & Beans: Grains have sufficient amounts of fibre as well as various nutritional components.

Fruits – Fruits should be eaten by all age groups. It includes:

Normally young people can have many dishes. Just need to avoid excessive consumption.
As the people gets younger, they should change their eating structure slightly as most of the times lifestyle also changes.
• Plan for daily workout.
• Decrease the consumption of sugar and salt contained foods with higher proportion.
• Avoid as much you can or reduce the alcohol drinking.

 

Food selection for women while pregnant

Pregnant women must give proper attention on their diet. They needs nutritious food to fulfil the needs of unborn proper development. Also need to take care of some foods that needed to be avoided.
