The old proverb is that, Basic human needs of man have been a food, clothes & shelter. Now time is for amendment in proverb, instead of only food, Organic Foods – this specific word should be replaced.

Food quality is degraded a lot, due to usage of artificial fertilizers, flavor, color, preservatives etc. from the step of growing to preservation of food. Ignorance on such incidents may lead to spoil our health.

There must be a strict government rule or need banned for using chemicals as well as artificial components.

Below are some key points, at least where we must focus and try to avoid as much as we can.

 

1. Adulterated Milk

Today most of the population lives in city. People shift to city on higher proportions for their job or business purposes, and then have to adjust with facilities available at that place.

In village life, there are lots of people who do milking  for there self employment. Due to sufficient people do animal husbandry, people livings in villages gets direct home delivery of pure milk. Only such milkman add waters in milk to increase the quantity, hence there is no any such side effects on health.

Most probably milkman give it to milk dairy, once collecting of sufficient amounts of milk,  it is then packed in small pouches to deliver at places where it is not produced.

Some people for their self benefit, do wrong practice and sale the adulterated Milk. This people use urea, washing powder, glucose, refined oil, milk powder, water, hydrogen peroxide etc., this is called as synthetic milk. Such artificial or adulterated Milk is slow poison and may lead to cancer.

 

2. Jaggery

Jaggery is also used in large proportion for consumptions. This product is also easily adulterated.

Mostly good hygienic jaggery has dark brown color & adulterated one comes in yellowish or with light yellow colors. Such jaggery consumption is harmful for our body.

To make such adulterated some other products or chemicals are added, like sugar, artificial colors, sodium hydro sulphate, superphosphate, calcium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, ortho-phosphoric acid, calcium hydroxide, sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate, etc.

The reason behind such chemicals usage is that, to remove the impurities very easily s well as to get proper color of final product.

Suggestions : Jaggery has many health benefits, hence eat only organic jaggery. To avoid and save yourself from bad effects of such chemicals on your health.

 

3. Banana

Banana is favorite & common fruit, which is consumed on large proportion. It is easily available in the market for entire year.

This is very healthy food for our body, but due to wrong practice of its fast ripening process make them harmful.

Due to heavy demand, farmers pluck the banana bunch early from its plant. Then it is sent to its warehouse for storage and ripening process. Here chemicals are used for faster ripening.

Chemicals used for such fast ripening process includes ethephon, calcium carbide, acetylene, ethylene gas, ethylene glycol and alkyl alcohols etc., long time habits of eating these chemically ripen banana can cause various diseases.

 

4. Watermelon

Watermelon is favorite among all the people due to its delicious taste.

This fruit is easily available in the market and specially in large quantities at the time of summer season.

Watermelon provides us various health benefits but make sure it should be ripen naturally. Just like banana, watermelon are also the fruit which is ripen artificial way that can harm our health.

Some of the vendors inject red dye in this fruit, that will give red color and sweetness to watermelon. Such chemicals are very dangerous for our health.

Oxytocin is also used to inject to make the watermelons growth faster.

Chemicals used for watermelon contains lead chromate, nitrate, methanol, carbide, Sudan red, that will make watermelon unhygienic for consumption.

Today packed foods are the major foods source of many people. Due to busy schedules, quick snacks or being a fond of taste, such packed foods are consumed in large proportion.

Packed foods are processed and stored. Mostly preservatives, gases are used for keeping the food editable for long time.

We should aware that such packed foods may harm our health and liable for digestion related problems.
